the first time of walk with personality

Walking with personality . The character in the short animation plays a role of thief. This thief was walking quietly into a room to steal something. I try to focus on the steps which can express the mood of the character.Moreover, the eye balls moving can be recognised by audience that the thief was very cautiously and scary. At first, the thief was looking around to check whether somebody there or not, and then he found the target and bent, walking to it slowly.

This simple story is about a ball and a box. The personality of the box is very patient and scary, but the ball who is so naughy and always wants to bully the box. One day when these friends meet each other, the ball came towards  the box and show his offensiveness to the box. Moreover, the ball hit the box again and again, and then he even jumped on the box and bully him as usual.

This walking action should be improved in three parts, firstly, the feet which I think is not very natural（just like a corpse），secondly the arms waving make the character walks like a model. At last, the hip and the shoulders should be match the steps which makes him as natural as possible.

 About the surprised pose, I thought four different ones. The top left is about someone find his friend was murdered, and laid on the ground with knife insert his body.  The top right is the teacher found his student was sleeping in the class time when he turn round. The mood of the teacher must be surprised with angry. The bottom left is about a girl was surprised when a boy give her a bouquet of flowers. The last one on the bottom right is a little boy who was scared by a snake.

 What's under there? A thief was hiding under the bed, and the owner seems like find something unusual. Therefore he try to check out what's under there. One of the poses in the middle is someone who try to find a old toy which was hided under the bed, so he has to lift the bed. Another one is a naughty boy who was walking on the beach and find a stone on the ground. What's under there, maybe a crab, maybe a snake. With the curiosity he lifted the stone with his foot. The last one is a baby wanted to find his gift which be hided under the table by his parents.

 Here are some poses to express "what's under there". I try to put some human mood to the character to show what they are thinking when they try to find what's under there.

 Still the same pose, but I did a little change to the action of his hands that covering his mouth which can express a little scare with curiosity.
